Students arrive Friday afternoon at Bobby Hart Custom Rifles for course orientation and classroom instruction. The evening focuses on introductions, equipment setup, rifle systems, optics, shooting fundamentals, and preparing students for the weekend ahead. This session ensures every shooter understands their gear, the course structure, and what to expect before heading to the range.

Saturday is the foundation day of the course and focuses heavily on precision rifle performance and long range fundamentals. Students meet at the shop in the morning to inspect rifles, evaluate optics and equipment, clean firearms, and address anything that may impact accuracy or consistency. After lunch, the class moves to the range where shooters zero rifles at 100 or 200 yards before building turret data and extending distances out to 700 yards. Throughout the afternoon, students learn MOA corrections, wind reading, mirage interpretation, and practical long range shot execution through extensive live-fire training.

Sunday combines everything learned throughout the weekend into practical real-world shooting scenarios. After a quick refresher and warm-up session, students move onto Bobby Hart’s 3D shooting course where they engage targets from realistic hunting positions and environments. Shooters practice from standing tripods, kneeling, seated positions, shooting houses, blinds, and tree stands while applying proper technique, wind calls, and confidence at distance. The final day is designed to prepare students for real hunting and field situations while reinforcing the skills developed during the course.

Following the final range session and completion of the 3D course, students return to Bobby Hart Custom Rifles for course wrap-up and graduation. Each shooter receives a certificate of completion recognizing their successful participation in Bobby Hart’s Long Range Shooting School. The weekend concludes with final discussions, questions, and a review of the skills and techniques developed throughout the course.
